A support partner, or caregiver, is an important person in the life of someone with MS. Managing multiple sclerosis relapses takes forethought and planning, and most importantly, it requires a partnership with a trusted person who can help take care of the things that someone with MS may not be able to take care of during a relapse. Meet Rennie and Bruce. When Rennie was diagnosed with MS in 2003, she and Bruce decided that rather than let MS dictate their lives, they were going to use the opportunity to work closely together to keep on living their lives as normally as possible.
